I am raymond niles. i have a ph.d. in economics from george mason university, awarded in april 2018.

I have been a Graduate Research Fellow in the F.A. Hayek Program for Advanced Study in Philosophy, Politics, and Economics at the Mercatus Center, and I am an associate at the Colloquium on Market Institutions and Economic Processes at New York University. 

I have a B.A. from the University of Florida in Economics and an M.B.A with Distinction in Economics and Finance from the Stern School of Business at New York University.

My research interests include monetary theory and history, financial economics, entrepreneurship and the business cycle, and Austrian Economics.
